Thank you for your interest in participating in a research project hosted on the Terapage platform. These Terms and Conditions govern your involvement in any project hosted on our platform. Please read them carefully. By continuing to register or participate, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Purpose of Participation

You are being invited to contribute to a research initiative designed to gather feedback, insights, or information that can be used to improve products, services, communications, policy, or broader understanding. This research may be commercial, academic, nonprofit, or governmental in nature.

Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without consequence.

2. Data Privacy & Protection

Your personal data and research contributions will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws including but not limited to the GDPR, CCPA, UK DPA, and PIPEDA.

All data you provide may be stored securely in compliance with industry standards. Your data will not be sold or used for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Key information includes:

• Data collected: responses, uploads, behavioral metadata, demographic details.
• Use of data: exclusively for research, reporting, insight development, or innovation purposes.
• Access: restricted to authorized project personnel and Terapage administrators.
• Storage duration: retained only for as long as necessary for project needs or legal obligations.
• Consent withdrawal: you may request deletion of your data at any time.

3. Participant Consent

By agreeing, you confirm the following:

• You understand the research purpose and participation expectations.
• You consent to data usage as outlined.
• You understand participation is voluntary and can be withdrawn.
• You agree not to disclose, copy, or misuse project content or responses.

4. Use of Content You Provide

Any content (text, audio, images, video) you submit remains your intellectual property. However, you grant the project owner and Terapage a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use this content for analysis, reporting, research publication, or development purposes in a non-commercial or commercial context.

5. Participant Conduct

As a participant, you agree to:

• Contribute genuine, relevant, and respectful content.
• Avoid submitting offensive, illegal, or harmful material.
• Refrain from harassing or impersonating others.
• Not screenshot, share, or duplicate project content externally.
• Understand that inappropriate behavior may result in removal or data deletion.

6. Incentives and Rewards (If Offered)

Some projects may include incentives (e.g., gift cards, compensation). These will be described in your project invite. Eligibility criteria and timelines will be clearly stated. Terapage is not liable for the administration of incentives unless specified.

7. Platform Responsibility

Terapage provides the technical infrastructure for project delivery but does not own or operate individual research projects. Each project is the responsibility of its respective research sponsor.

Terapage is not liable for:

• The content, findings, or outcomes of the research.
• Misuse of participant content by researchers.
• Fulfillment of any incentive or reward by third parties.

8. Withdrawal and Deletion

You may withdraw from the project at any time. You can also request the deletion of any personal data provided. To do so, please email contact@terapage.ai with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'.

10. Agreement Confirmation
